The car was partially disassembled and every major system was rebuilt or replaced. The Bristol engine was removed and rebuilt, along with its heads and ancillary systems. The transmission was found to be in excellent condition and left alone, but before it was reinstalled a new clutch and slave cylinder were installed. Most of suspension was removed and rebuilt along with new shock absorbers. The fuel tank was removed and refurbished. A new radiator was installed, along with a refurbishment of the entire cooling system. An all-new brake system from the master cylinder back was installed, and upgraded with stainless steel sleeving. The charging system was rebuilt and a new exhaust fitted. The carbs were rebuilt. The result is a real drivers car. With every system operating as it did in 1958, the driver can experience, first hand, one of best handling cars of its era. Time to put on the driving gloves and find out for yourself.
